It’s almost Octover. Hello, Novembeard.

Alright, time for another post.  I haven’t posted in a while as I’ve posting shit strait to my Russkiy blog, therecognitionscene.wordpress.com.  Thanks to Risa, Angie and Nina for some nice thoughtful posts recently.  I really enjoyed reading them.

All’s been going just fine here in Vladimir.  The city’s alright, the staff is great, the friends I’ve made here are rad as is the host family.

Halloween is fast approaching and I’m a little bummed I won’t be there stateside making a fool of myself, but I’ll try my best here.  Also, if anyone has any costume ideas, I could use ‘em.  We host a little shindig at the American Home for students and I’ll need a costume.

Anyways, my internet is shitty so I can’t update as often as I’d like. I did get on the twitters (brugnargnar). So here’s a little quickie for you bastards.

Round-up of shit I often forget:

1. Happy birthday to Al, Ryan and anyone else I missed.

2. How’s Vince Roy, Ultra Ultra, Two Hand Fools and whoever else been? New music I should check out?

3. Anyone make it to Pawpaw or going to the Fest?

4. The album Pebble by Lemuria finally grew on me and I can listen to Sink or Swim again.

Well, that’s all for now. Miss you all a lot.  Hope all is well, especially for those of you in new cities.  Enjoy yourselves.

Love,

Trevor

  1. Great to hear from you, Tre. I’m happy that you’re happy in Vladimir. From your photos and updates, it certainly looks to be a rad town and you don’t have trouble making new friends. Sounds like good times.

Stateside, I think I’m going to be Allen Grant for Halloween, and be bad with children and be unable to lock seat belts. I’ve been a Maryland resident for five days and it already feels like home.

That’s really all I’ve got. Do well.

    Love,
    Paolo

    • I can’t wait for Ian to encounter dinosaurs in the company of children and finally learn to love them (children not dinosaurs).

Also, Ian, if you read this, I’ve been listening to a lot of Deafheaven recently. Shit’s rad.

  2. Trevor. I told you one million times to send me your address so that I can send you some Casa coffee that my mom picked up when she went to visit Willy. I mean, I’m down to keep it all for myself but if you wanted a little bags worth I am willing to share.
