My Catfish and I
Marty and I took my little boat out today. For those of you who haven’t seen my boat, it’s about 8-feet-long and inflatable with a little 6 horsepower motor on it. It normally crawls, but with just Marty and me on it, we were flying. From the Rocky River, we rode as far west as Columbia Park in Bay Village and as far east as Clifton Park in Lakewood. We pulled up on a little beach along the cliffs and got out to do some swimming, exploring and some rock skipping. Apparently, we were about to do some fishing too. I saw this catfish swimming in the shallow water and I grabbed that sick little bastard right up mit meinen Händen. Don’t worry, he was just out long enough for a photo opp and then I let swim free. A nice little nature experience in Lake Erie for the day.
